The Black Rain Group Foundation Zurich was founded in August 2009 by Bruno Stettler and Richard Marbacher. The foundation is non-profit making, politically independent and non-denominational. It supports humanitarian projects in Haiti, such as the hospital in Montrouis, an orphanage and a home for the elderly in Cap Haitien as well as the construction of additional such institutions. Black Rain Group is offering disaster relief by funding the purchase of aid items in the Dominican Republic and distributing them to projects for the Haitian population.
